Problem/Question

How to add printer in AIl-In-One-Tool (AIOT) application.

Failed to add a printer.

Resolution/Answer

Only SATO printers, specifically those supported by this All-In-One Tool, can be detected and added. Currently, the following interfaces are supported:

• LAN (Wired and Wireless, TCP/IP)
• USB (Plug & Play)

Before adding the printer, connect the printer to the PC or network. Please refer to the operator manual of each printer for details on the connection.

The All-In-One Tool can automatically detect SATO printers connected via the USB interface and the standard LAN interface within the network system.

• Consult your IT to make sure your printers are successfully connected to your network.

1. On the printer page, click [Discover Printers]. The All-In-One Tool starts scanning and lists out all the printers connected to the network system.
   
   
   
2. Select the check box of the printers you want to add. The printers are added to the printer page. 

   
   
   

3. Click [Add Printer].

   

   Remarks

   When All-In-One Tool tries to connect to the printer, it is important to ensure that there is no other application (such as a printer driver) using the printer at the same time.

   For example, a printer driver that is actively connecting to the PW208NX via the USB port will cause connection problems to the All-In-One Tool with this printer.
