Steps for Test Print Using the Shortcut Button
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Load media and ribbon.
3. Press and hold the Left button while turning on the power.
4. Release the Left button When “SELF-TEST …” is displayed on the LCD.
5. The printer will print a configuration report, as shown in the example on the next
page. All characters will be printed in 2 columns: the right shows characters received
from your system, and the left shows the corresponding hexadecimal values of the
characters. It allows users or engineers to verify and debug the program.
Steps for Test Print via LCD Menu
1. Turn on the printer.
2. At this stage, the printer screen will display the following interface:
3. Press the Middle button, then press and hold it again.
4. The printer screen will now display the following interface:
5. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the Tools menu
6. Press the ENTER button.
7. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the Test Print option.
8. Press the ENTER button to print a configuration report.

verify and ensure that the printer is functioning correctly and set up to meet your specific
