How to use the [Printing] Screen

Resolution/Answer
On the [Printing] screen, you can arrange to print and encode labels for the products listed on this
screen.
The [Printing] screen includes the following:
1. Product List
The list shows all the active products that are available for the user’s organization. You can search,
sort, or apply filter to the product list as explained below.
Searching Items on the Product List
Type the text or numbers that you wish to search for and click [Find].
You can refine the search by selecting a category from the drop-down list and clicking [OK].
Sorting the Product List
Click the header to sort the list based on the selected header.
The triangle pointing upwards indicates that the data is sorted in ascending order, while the triangle
pointing downwards indicates that the data is sorted in descending order. Click the header to toggle
the order.
Filtering the Data
Move the pointer to the header and click the filter icon. A drop-down list will appear showing the
filter criteria. Select the option you want to display on the list.
You can apply filters to multiple headers. The filter icon displayed on the header indicates that the
filter is selected.
When filters are selected, their descriptions are displayed at the bottom of the product list.
Clicking the filter description will show a drop-down list of previously selected filters. The history of
selected filters will be cleared when you sign out.
A selected checkbox indicates that the selected filter is applied. Clear the checkbox to disable the
filter.
Click the X button to clear all the selected filters.
Product Information
Shows the [Product Name] and the [Product Description] of the selected product.
Main [Menu]
Click the SATO logo on the lower left of the [Printing] screen to display the main [Menu] as shown
below.
The options displayed on the main [Menu] depend on the user’s login account.
When a user logs in using an account with general access, only [Printing Screen] is available for
selection.
When a user logs in using an account with administrator access, [Printing Screen], [Product Master
Maintenance], [Print Job Log], and [Print and Encoded Log] are available for selection.

User Name
Shows the current login user name.
Click the user name to display a dialog.
In this dialog, you can sign out from the current account or switch to another web application, if
applicable.
Account Information
Shows the registered email address of the user’s account and the user’s GS1 Company Prefix.
Label Preview
Shows a label preview of the selected product and label layout.
When you hover the pointer to the label preview section, the zooming function buttons are displayed
on the upper left.
Click to zoom out.
Click to fit the label preview within the section.
Click to zoom in.
Printer and Label Settings
Set the following options for printing.
[Print Qty]: Type the quantity of labels to be printed.
[Label Layout]: Select a label layout from the list that are registered for the user’s company uses.
[Printer]: Select the SATO printer that is registered for the SATO Vendor Tagging (RFID) solution.
Operation Buttons
Click the following buttons for its operation.
[Print]:
If the [Test Print] checkbox is selected, click [Print] to perform a test print. The label will be
printed out with watermarks.
If the [Test Print] checkbox is cleared, click [Print] to print the label for the actual application.
[Clear]: Click to clear the selection of the product.
[QUIT]: Click to close the SATO Vendor Tagging (RFID) solution.
