1. Refer diagram below to locate dpi information from serial number tags at bottom of printer. 

Refer chart 1 below to obtain dpi information.

WS212	300 dpi (12 dots/mm)	1120 DOTS

2. Run a self-test to print a configuration label, which helps you
understand current settings of the printer.

Perform the following steps to run the self-test:
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Press and hold the FEED button and turn on the printer.
3. Both status lights glow solid orange for a few seconds. Next, they turn to green shortly and then turn to other colors. When LED 1 turns to orange and LED 2 turns to green, release the FEED button.
4. Press the FEED button to print a configuration label.
