S84ex / S86ex - Enable / Disable Ribbon Near End

Problem/Question

1. "Ribbon End" error when there around 10% or approximately 30-40 meters of ribbon remaining on printer.

2. Want to enable / disable detection of the ribbon near end.

Resolution/Answer

Under SERVICE MODE >Select SETTING + enter button until you see " RIBBON NEAR END " option, select "DISABLE" by press the left or right button to select an item or set the value accordingly. The active arrow icons are shown on the screen.
